Your Guide to Voting in Hunt County

What’s on the ballot?

There are multiple items on the May 3 Hunt County ballot for different jurisdictions. In addition to school district trustees, city council members, and alderman positions, Hunt Regional has a measure on the ballot asking voters to vote “FOR” or “AGAINST” the issuance of bonds for renovations and expansions at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville.

“Hunt Memorial Hospital District Proposition A

The issue of bonds in the amount of $29,340,000 to improve and expand Hunt Regional Medical Center and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.”

“Distrito Escolar de Hunt Memorial Hospital Proposicion A

La emission de bonos por un monto de $29,340,000 para mejorar y ampliar el Centro Medico Regional de Hunt y la imposicion de impuestos suficientes para pagar el capital y los intereses de los bonos.”

When is election day?

Election Day is May 3, 2025. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. As long as you are in line at the time polls close, you will be allowed to cast your ballot.

Where do I vote?

Hunt County has multiple precincts and polling places. If you’re early voting, all locations below are not available. Your exact polling location is based on the precinct in which you are registered. Here is a list of polling locations, or you can use the following:

What about early voting?

If you prefer to vote before Election Day, early voting is available weekdays from April 22 to April 25 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., AND April 28-29 from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. During early voting, you can cast your ballot in person, regardless of precinct, at:

  • Hunt Regional Medical Ctr – 4215 Joe Ramsey Blvd., Greenville; Conference Room 3
  • Commerce City Hall – 1119 Alamo, Commerce; 113 – Executive Conference Room
